VRA is the most efficient way to maximize payment process for your practice, facility or health system by settling electronic payments directly into your bank account via ACH.

VRA offers a choice of remittance data formats delivered via your choice of secure portal download, Clearinghouse, SFTP or secure email. Additionally, this solution aggregates all payer data into a single 835 transaction, which simplifies data handling.

Helpful Information when working with Zelis

Providers may submit an appeal to either Zelis or Friday Health Plans if they disagree with a claim determination. If it is a Zelis denial, then the code will have a “z” at the end of the denial reason (e.g., 00504z). This is an identifier that the claim determination came from Zelis. Friday Health Plans will then forward the appeal request to Zelis for further review. If it is an appeal for any other denial reason such as Not Medically Necessary, Out of Timely, etc. then it would need to be submitted to Friday Health Plans. If the provider does not have the EOP, then they will need to call for claim status or verify the denial reason to truly know whether to submit an appeal to Zelis or Friday Health Plans.
